An intimate and thrilling way to visit New York’s magnificent harbor. These 90-minute day sails offer the perfect opportunity to sit back and relax while you take in close-up views of the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island and the Manhattan skyline.

Departures: Monday through Saturday at 12:30 p.m. and 2:45 p.m and on Sunday at 2:00 pm.

Happy Hour Sail

Come and relax with after work drinks aboard the Shearwater!

FREE OPEN BAR including Beer, Wine, and soft drinks.

Departures: We open our Happy Hour Sail two weeks prior to sail date. Sail departs at 5.00 pm on Fridays, June through August only.

Sunset Sail

Watch night fall on the city as the sun sets behind the Statue of Liberty from the unbeatable vantage point of the harbor... the perfect way to kick-start your evening or put a long day behind you.

Departures: We open our Sunset Sail two weeks prior to sail date. Sail departs at about 7:00 pm, most days of the week (departure time adjusted to follow the sunset).

Ticket Price: Adults $50, Seniors 65 $38 and children 12 and under $25. Duration: 2 hours.

Cash bar or Open bar available (unlimited beer, wine, champagne, soft drinks) for $20

City Lights Sail

See the world’s most famous skyline light up the night. The bustle and noise of the city turns to silence as we slip out onto the Hudson, cut the engines and unfurl our sails for a tranquil 90-minute cruise.

Departures: Thursday through Saturday at 9:30 p.m. June through September only.

Ticket Price: Adults $45, Seniors 65 $38 and children 12 and under $25. Duration: 90 minutes. Includes one free drink (beer, white wine, soft drinks).

Champagne Brunch Sail

Join us for a Sunday brunch unlike any other. Package includes a plentiful buffet, tea and coffee service as well as an open bar. Menu includes assorted muffins, homemade breads and cakes, bagels, salmon and assorted meats and cheeses.

Departures: Sundays at 11:00 am.

Ticket Price: Adults $79 and children 12 and under $39. Duration: 2 hours.

Wine Tasting Sail

Set sail with our wine expert, who, each week, will introduce you to a different variety of wines picked from some of America’s oldest and best-known cellars. Casual, fun and informative, join us to expand your palate as we pair great wines with snacks and cheese.

Full Moon Sail

New York Harbor is at her brightest and most radiant on nights with a full moon.

Departures: 9:30 p.m. on the following dates only: May 5, June 4, July 3, August 1, August 31 and September 29.

Late Night Rendezvous Sail

Treat a loved one to the experience of a lifetime aboard our Gatsby-era schooner. A chilled bottle of Veuve Cliquot awaits you when you board and enjoy the romance of having the Shearwater to yourselves. This special charter package is offered only late at night, after the last scheduled sail of the day.

Departures: According to availability after the last sail of the day. Duration: 90 minutes.

Ticket Price: $1600 ( for 2 people). Includes a bottle of Champagne Veuve Cliquot.

Daytime Sail

Take a step back in time on New York’s only tall ship. From her spacious main deck or raised quarter deck, you’ll enjoy the sailing experience of a lifetime aboard this majestic topsail schooner as we unfurl her canvas and set sail through the harbor.

Departure: Daily 2:15 p.m and 4:30 p.m. Duration: 90 minutes.

Twilight Sail

Craft Beer Tasting Sail

Set sail on New York’s largest sailing vessel with the craft beer experts from Urban Oyster, and get introduced to the wonderful new world of Craft Beer. With over 1,500 brewers now making delicious brews all over the country, choosing and appreciating beer has become an art form to rival its cousin wine. Taste several outstanding ales and lagers paired with cheese and charcuterie while you drink in the magnificent views of the skyline of NYC.

Departure: Saturdays and Sundays at 12:00 PM (noon).

Ticket price: Adults $105, and children 12 and under $50. Duration: Approx 1 hour 45 minutes.

Jazz Sail

Step aboard the Clipper City for a jazz concert cruise around NYC
Bring out the romance.  The hustle, bustle and noise of the city turns to the sweet, cool rhythms of bebop, smoky blue, ballads and other jazz standards as you sail smoothly out into the summer night with the backdrop of NYC skyline all lit up. Acclaimed jazz guitarist, Joe Cohn, joined by accomplished saxophonist, Avram Fefer, leads this swinging quintet;  Joe will be joined by a variety of other well-known guest musicians booked by Jazz Standard founder, James Polsky.

One complimentary beer, wine or champagne will be provided.  Cocktails available for purchase at our full on-deck bar.

Fall Foliage Sail (Shearwater)
