Our Boats: Shearwater and Clipper City
The Shearwater is a graceful Newport-style schooner built in 1929, perfect for groups up to 49 passengers. Have your wedding, birthday, or corporate event on board this classic, Gatsby-era sailing ship as she makes her way to the Statue of Liberty and around Manhattan, taking in the sights and sounds of the harbor. If your party is larger than 49, consider our larger boat, the tall ship Clipper City.
The original Clipper City was built as a cargo schooner in 1854, just prior to the Civil War. Rebuilt and refurbished from the original plans which were borrowed from the Smithsonian Institution, at 158 feet, the Clipper City is an epic venue to host up to 149 guests on a sailing adventure around New York Harbor. Parties and events on our historic tall ships are absolutely breathtaking.

**There is a 2 hour minimum to charter the boat. We accommodate requests for a 1-hour charter, but you will be charged a 1.5-hour rate for the 1-hour event.
***There will be a Sunset Peak Time Fee of $500.00 applied to all private charters during that time of day.. -
