Your Independence Day cruise begins at 5:30 PM and features a fully catered barbecue menu and open bar served up by our attentive and friendly crew.

You will be treated to unparalleled views of the fireworks and as they light up New York Harbor!

Cruise past the Brooklyn Bridge, Governors Island, Ellis Island, the Statue of Liberty as you enjoy a bountiful buffet BBQ of culinary delights and fixins' from all over the USA.

Sip cocktails from our on-board bar. It opens as soon as we slip our dock lines.

The open bar includes your choice of beer, wine, mixed drinks and specialty themed cocktails (see below)

Treat Yourself to Something Special

See the awe-inspiring Macy's July 4th, 2013, fireworks display light up the sky over the Hudson River.

You can’t get any closer to the action, just step aboard the massive Clipper City Tall Ship or the elegant Shearwater Classic Schooner for a front row seat to the festivities.

Learn to tie a sailor's knot from a crewman or sit back and take in the sights from the serene vantage point of two of America's most beautiful and historic operating sailing ships.The show will feature more than 40,000 shells exploding at a rate of more than 1,500 per minute and fireworks reaching heights of 1,000 feet in the air.

Itinerary:

Depart the dock at 5:30pm and set sail immediately.   Join the crew and hoist a sail or head straight to the bar - your choice. Feast on an all-you-can-eat buffet of tasty American bar-b-que fare.  You will cruise past the Brooklyn Bridge, Governors Island, Ellis Island, the Statue of Liberty up the Hudson River to the viewing area reserved only for large ships. Your captain will get in position and order the crew to "strike" (lower) our sails to guarantee the best possible views. As night falls the harbor lights will take your breathe away just as the fireworks begin against the most famous skyline in the world.

When the smoke clears, the captains will sound their foghorns all across the harbor to signal the end of the festivities. You will depart with memories to cherish for the rest of your life. We anticipate disembarking shortly after 10:00 pm.
